Tammi Herkey is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner practicing in Shreveport, Louisiana at the Menopause and Hormone Specialty Center, LLC.

Originally from Knox, Pennsylvania, Ms. Herkey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Daemen College in 1996 and her Masters of Science Degree from State University of New York in 1998.

While living in Buffalo, she met her husband and moved to Shreveport so he could pursue his career in law enforcement.

In addition to running her successful practice, she is the proud mother of a fourteen-year-old daughter and twin six-year-old boys.

She has always been very passionate about women’s health and helping to restore their hormones to optimal levels.

Ms. Herkey has 10 years ‘ experience in hormone replacement therapy including utilization of pellets and finds great reward in being able to improve the quality of life in her patients.

Becoming a certified BioTE provider was affirmation of her years of experience and research in hormone optimization, and she is excited to incorporate the BioTE medical method into her practice.
